MidiChat is for free. You can also get the _Chat version, which also runs on other
platforms than the Windows platform. Although it is not named 'version 1.0',
the current version works great.
If you start MidiChat, and nothing happens, then you need to get a newer virtual
machine (see below).
_Chat is also available for the MacOS, Linux and SunSolaris, and there is also a MidiChat
version for the Sun VirtualMachine. Just mail me if you want to use it.
MidiChat is freeware. However, all copyrights to MidiChat are
exclusively owned by the author.
MidiChat may not be used in a commercial or shareware product without
the written approval of Bonneville Software.
We are not responsible for any damage you incur by using this
software - use at your own risk.
Standard disclaimers apply. If you use MidiChat in your own projects,
you should include a credit for MidiChat, and a
comment to the effect that Bonneville Software retains the copyright.
You may not decompile, disassemble or otherwise reverse engineer

The _Chat version doesn't include "Manually Connect", it's not the intention of _Chat to
allow that.
Note: MidiChat (not _Chat) requires the "Microsoft Virtual Machine", which you can
download
for free. (Windows 2000 users don't have to download it). If you have installed Internet Explorer 4.0x or higher, this is probably also
good (I can't test all versions).
